This is probably an early morning album, if it has any real world context at all. That first light of morning, etherial, without a point source, a hint of silver or gold. At that moment the sun breaks through, casts soft shadows of leaves and branches against the ground, moving gently in the moving air of night time drifting away. Deep colors expanding, growing into the richness of amber. There is no precise moment, but looking out, watching the evolving shadows I usually realize the instant has passed and can only be preserved, like a washed out Polaroid, in memory.

I arrange myself at a keyboard and play. Improvisations I suppose, but actually they are more as narratives to me. Stories or imaginings that carry me away from the moment I am in and show me new places and new forms, colors, sounds.

Instruments: Rhodes Mark I electric piano, Moog Voyager, Cobalt8X, Arturia Pigments, Spitfire Audio Labs, Native Instruments Reaktor, Alchemy, Absynth, originally created Kontakt instruments, 1/4-inch tape loops. Recorded and mixed in Logic ProX.
